Emergency Food & Essentials (Rochdale Food Support)

Weekly crisis support for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Parcels may include fresh and ambient foods, toiletries and baby items where available. We welcome self-referrals and referrals from agencies. This create immediate relief of poverty and hardship.

Advice & Crisis Signposting

We connect residents to trusted partners for benefits checks, debt advice, housing, immigration and employment support. This will prevent escalation of financial crisis and promote stability.

Mentoring & Confidence Support

Short, focused 1-to-1 sessions for adults and young people to set goals, access opportunities and build resilience (e.g., CV help, job search routines, routines at home). We aim to use this to move people from dependence to independence.

Education Support (Children & Young People)

Homework clubs, learning resources and small-group tutoring for children from low-income families, delivered with schools and parents.
We aim to use this to reduce educational inequality linked to poverty.

Parenting & Life-Skills

Workshops on budgeting, meal planning, routines, and navigating local services; signposting to family support and emergency help.
This will strengthen households to withstand financial shocks.

Digital Inclusion for Adults

Beginner sessions on smartphones, email, online forms, NHS app, Universal Credit journals and job portals. Devices and data signposting where available.
This will remove digital barriers to services, benefits and work.
